Road-tripping across Wisconsin with the family, we discovered La Fritanga, connected to the Ramada in Richland Center. It was a terrific experience for us. The food is Nicaraguan - and it is VERY tasty. We loved the chance to sample the cuisine of another culture! The chips and salsas were excellent - spicy and delicious. We ordered enchiladas and burritos for our mains. The burrito was huge and covered in delicious cheese. The enchiladas were different - in a really good way. Deep fried, starchy and delicious. Our son ate himself silly. The service was terrific as well - polite and friendly and kind. We felt very well taken care of. The staff clearly cares about their customers and has pride in their business. Ambience is very casual - just what we wanted at the end of a day of driving. Finding places like La Fritanga is what makes road-tripping great! If you get a chance to give it a try, I definitely recommend.
